depends on how much do weigh and whether you're a Nash/Stockton kind of player vs. a Kobe/Lebron/Jordan kind of player. doesn't always have to be brand-based.

if you rely on lateral movement, get a shoe with excellent ankle %26amp; pronation support (e.g., huarache), soles with both tapered sides and forefoot grooves, and the lightest shoe you can afford. and always make sure the shoe follows the contour %26amp; width of your shoe. my friends who've been shoe collectors(50+ pairs)/athletes say that the best cushioning in a basketball shoe is zoom air forefoot plus nike air heel. just make sure to keep your shoes in the box %26amp; not on your cold floor or in the trunk of a car.
Reply:I think the nike air zoom huarache elite Tb's are cool and how can you beat those Jordan's. Just make sure they fit good or your feet could be screwed up for awhile.
Reply:it really depends on how much your weight is and how well you can move on the floor...if your really good and move alot get the air zooms..
Reply:I'd go with Nike Shox. they've always given me lots of comfort on my feet and I like the stability. I did talk to a foot doctor last year and he said it was VERY bad for your foot if you dont get the Shox that have the actual shox going all the way from the front to the back so look for that.
Reply:if you definitely want one of those three, take the Elite Huaraches. if not, i recommend the Lebron 20-5-5
