I would get the most comfortable pair of shoes out there. Everyone is currently mentioning everything expensive and are materialistic. Have fun with that. I would much rather have comfortable shoes than "cool" shoes. I would go into a shoe store and try to find a shoe that feels good. Get something that has the support you need and are light weight and good cushioning. As far as socks go, I usually go with the crew cut low socks so they are hidden in my shoes. However, sometimes the back of the shoes rub on the back of your foot and cause blisters and whatnot, but I would just get what's comfortable.

Reply:ankle socks for sure...get the dri-fit ones or underarmour. For shoes I really like the Lebrons, pretty much any version. Nike is by far the best for shoes so make sure to get their brand!
