Can you wear basketball shoes as regular walking sneakers?

I want to know before I buy $40 worth of bball schools. Will they work as regular sneakers after the season is over?

i think the only good looking basketball shoes which a person can wear for casual shoes are Air Jordans...since they are very clean-cut-looking

Reply:yes...there was a time when all i wore was basketball shoes because they usually offer a lot of support and r pretty comfortable

Reply:yes, they will be broken in enough to were you could pretty much do anything in the shoes, and they should last a while because if you are only using them for basketball during the basketball season they should still be in good shape

Reply:of course you can, cuz theyre shoes. They will wear out a lot faster. What I did is buy one pair of bball shoes to play playground basketball with and i used them as walking shoes also, then i bought another pair for indoor organized league basketball.

Reply:possibly, if you buy a pair that is simpl in style. ask the sales person at footloker,finishline,champs,and athletes foot ect.
