Hairspray works wonders. Spray outside, put the shoes on inside.

Also you can fill a bucket with a TINY amount of coke or Pepsi and let your sneakers sit - just the soles - overnight.

Just be careful not to sprain anything because your shoes *will* be sticky!

Try not to wear them outside if possible... especially on rough surfaces, it wears down the tread pretty fast and makes them slick.
Reply:If you the floor is clean and the bottom of your shoes are clean, then their shouldn't be an issue with you sliding around. IF the floor has not been cleaned in a while, there really isn't too much that you can do. Also, you don't want your shoes to be "Sticky", that is a good way to turn an ankle while playing ball.. If you shoes get stuck while you are trying to shuffle on defense, it might just turn your ankle.

Your best choice it to tell the Gym to clean the floors and make sure your shoes are clean.... You'll be fine after that.
Reply:You cant use anything. just lick you hand and rub it against you shoe. work everytime. you might have to do it a couple of times during the game.
