What kind of basketball shoes and socks should i get?
I would get the most comfortable pair of shoes out there. Everyone is currently mentioning everything expensive and are materialistic. Have fun with that. I would much rather have comfortable shoes than "cool" shoes. I would go into a shoe store and try to find a shoe that feels good. Get something that has the support you need and are light weight and good cushioning. As far as socks go, I usually go with the crew cut low socks so they are hidden in my shoes. However, sometimes the back of the shoes rub on the back of your foot and cause blisters and whatnot, but I would just get what's comfortable.

Reply:ankle socks for sure...get the dri-fit ones or underarmour. For shoes I really like the Lebrons, pretty much any version. Nike is by far the best for shoes so make sure to get their brand!

No they are definitely not and do not try playing in them. Bapes are meant for wearing casually and are popular fashion. They aren't even really gangsta, they are those Kanye West, pop my collar type shoes.

You should get Jordan's or Nike's they will last you quite a while and give you the support you need to not roll an ankle or end up injured in some other way. Socks dont really matter but if i had to choose, i would choose socks that come up higher than your shoe, and probably choose nike, dude. I have a pair of Nike shoes that i wear for my games, and they work very well and i have had them since august. I would vote for nike.
